Technology built by people who stand behind what they build
Vita Munhoz Tecnologia started in 2019, in the interior of São Paulo, from one developer's decision to build software differently: with method, with finish, and with someone on the other side willing to answer for the result. Today we are a team — and that standard hasn't changed.
It started with one person and one non-negotiable standard
In 2019, in Ourinhos, in the interior of São Paulo, Diego Munhoz founded Vita Munhoz Tecnologia on his own. There was no office, no investor and no client list — there was an irritation. Companies were still stuck with systems nobody understood, deadlines nobody met and vendors who disappeared after delivery. The software arrived; the problem stayed.
The bet was easy to say and hard to do: the opposite of that. Write code someone else can maintain two years later. Agree a deadline and meet it. Explain the technical decisions in plain language, so the person paying the bill can disagree with them. And stick around after go-live, when the system meets the real world and starts to hurt.
The first jobs were custom websites and apps. The standard demanded there opened the door to bigger challenges: management systems, integrations between platforms that didn't talk to each other, and critical processes where a failure is expensive. Then came artificial intelligence — not as a sales pitch, but as a tool to predict, classify and automate what used to eat hours of manual work.
Somewhere along the way, the company stopped building only for others and started building for itself. That is where Fin — Personal Finance Management, Totem Lanchonete and CaixaMEI AI came from: three in-house products, designed, maintained and improved internally. It was the most honest proof the company could give of itself: when the product is yours, there is no client to blame for a bad architectural decision.
Today Vita Munhoz Tecnologia is a team. What hasn't changed is the bar each project has to clear — nor the willingness to say no when we are not the best answer to the problem.
The real cost of software isn't in building it. It's in keeping it alive afterwards. That's why we write with whoever comes after us in mind.
The principle that guides the house
Diego Vinicius de Mello Munhoz
The path of the person who founded the company explains a lot about how it builds software.
Diego didn't come to software through the conventional door. He earned a Technologist Degree in Digital Games Development at FATEC Carapicuíba — a field that forces you to be several things at once. A game doesn't forgive: if the code is slow, the player feels it; if the interface confuses, they quit; if the experience doesn't hold them, nothing else matters. You learn early that technique without user experience is worth nothing.
That background left a mark on everything the company ships: the refusal to treat the user as a detail. But building well isn't enough — you have to deliver. Then came the MBA in Project Management, which brought the other side of the ledger: scope, deadline, risk and communication treated as a discipline instead of improvisation. It is the difference between promising a date and meeting it.
As artificial intelligence moved to the center of business decisions, came the MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics. Not to ride the wave, but to have judgment: to know when a model actually solves a problem, when the data supports the promise — and, above all, when the honest answer is that AI there would only add cost and unpredictability.
The creativity of someone who came from games, the method of someone who manages projects, the judgment of someone who studies data. That combination is what Vita Munhoz Tecnologia brings to every system it builds — and it is what sits behind the company's three in-house products.
Technologist Degree in Digital Games Development
FATEC — Carapicuíba College of Technology (São Paulo, Brazil)This is where the multidisciplinary view took shape. Building games means handling code, design, narrative, performance and the experience of whoever is on the other side of the screen — all at once. That combination became the way we build software here: nothing is only technical, and nothing is only pretty.
MBA in Project Management
Postgraduate degreeIt brought rigor of method. Deadline, scope, risk and communication stopped being improvisation and became process — which is what lets you promise a delivery and meet it, the exact point where most software projects fail.
MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics
Postgraduate degreeIt gave the vocabulary and the judgment to use AI where it actually solves something — and to say no when it is just decoration. Models, data and metrics became a decision-making tool, not a sales argument.
Our path so far
The milestones that shaped Vita Munhoz Tecnologia up to here, and the road we keep building.
Founding
Diego Munhoz founds Vita Munhoz Tecnologia in Ourinhos, in the interior of São Paulo, to turn ideas into intelligent solutions.
Custom web and mobile
Websites, portals and apps delivered under one non-negotiable requirement: clean code, scalable architecture and a flawless user experience.
Enterprise systems
The work moves into management systems, integrations and critical processes — where a failure is expensive and the engineering has to hold up.
Applied artificial intelligence
With the MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, the company starts applying AI to concrete business problems: predict, classify, automate and decide.
Fin, Totem Lanchonete and CaixaMEI AI
The company stops building only for others and starts building for itself: three in-house products, designed, maintained and improved internally.
Team, method and continuous improvement
What began with a single founder is a team today. The ambition is unchanged: deliver software that works, scales and lasts.
Mission, vision and values
The principles behind every project we take on — and every one we turn down.
Mission
Turn ideas into intelligent solutions: software that solves the right problem, that the company can maintain, and that keeps working as the business grows. Technology should give back time and clarity to the people who use it — not create one more dependency that is hard to sustain.
Vision
To be the company Brazilian businesses turn to when the project cannot go wrong — known less for size and more for rigor: serious engineering, mature use of artificial intelligence, and the nerve to tell the technical truth even when it is inconvenient.
Our values
Ten principles that are worth something only if they show up in the work — and not just on this page.
Innovation
We adopt new technology when it solves a real problem — never to pad a portfolio.
Ethics
We don't promise what we can't deliver, and we say no to projects where we're not the right fit.
Transparency
The client sees the progress, the risks and the technical decisions. A hidden problem becomes an expensive problem.
Quality
Clean, tested, readable code. What we ship has to be maintainable by someone else two years from now.
Excellence
The finish matters. Interface details, response times and error messages are part of the delivery.
Continuous learning
Constant study is part of the job, not something done in spare time. The founder's path is built on it.
Commitment to the client
Project success is measured by the client's result, not by the number of features shipped.
Security
Data protection and LGPD compliance go into the architecture on day one, not at the end.
Accountability
We own what we build. If something breaks after go-live, the problem is still ours.
Continuous improvement
Software doesn't end at launch. We monitor, measure and improve what is live.
Nine practices, one engineering standard behind them
Vita Munhoz Tecnologia's practices bring together software development, artificial intelligence and business process automation — from the first assessment to improving the system once it is live.
Web Development
Corporate websites, portals and web applications — fast, accessible and ready for search engines.
Mobile Apps
Android and iOS apps designed for daily use — Fin came out of this practice.
Artificial Intelligence
Agents, assistants and models applied to concrete problems: classify, predict, answer, decide.
Automation
Repetitive manual work removed, with processes that run on their own and speak up when they fail.
Integrations
Systems that finally talk to each other — ERPs, gateways, third-party APIs and legacy databases.
Cloud
Cloud infrastructure sized for real usage, with predictable deployment and cost under control.
Consulting
Technical assessment before the first line of code: what to build, what to buy and what simply not to do.
Software Architecture
Structural decisions that support growth — separation of concerns, SOLID and Clean Architecture.
Digital Transformation
Moving operations off paper and spreadsheets into systems that produce data, visibility and decisions.
What separates us from just another vendor
This isn't a list of adjectives: it's the set of decisions we make on every project, even when they mean more work.
Direct contact, no layers
You talk to someone who knows the project and has the authority to decide. No context handed off between support, sales and the technical team.
Custom-built solutions
We start from your process, not from a template. If an off-the-shelf product solves it better and cheaper, we say so.
AI used with judgment
We apply artificial intelligence where it changes the outcome — and avoid it where it only adds cost and unpredictability.
Modern architecture
Structural choices made for maintenance, not just for delivery. The system has to survive the next requirement.
Code quality
Clean, reviewed, readable code — because the real cost of software is in maintenance, not in the first deployment.
Scalability
What we build has to take your business's growth without a rewrite at every new level.
Security and LGPD
Data protection as an architectural decision. The same principle we apply to our own products.
Focus on results
Every delivery answers a business question. A feature that doesn't move a metric doesn't make it into scope.
Long-term partnership
Maintenance, improvement and follow-up after go-live. Living software needs someone to look after it.
Six reasons you can check for yourself
None of them asks you to take our word for it: each is either published on this site, or a method you can hold us to.
We build our own products
Fin, Totem Lanchonete and CaixaMEI AI are in-house products that we architect, build and evolve — none of them launched yet, all in validation. When we say we know how to get software off the drawing board, there are three engineering proofs to show, with real screens instead of promises.
Engineering before tooling
The stack follows from the problem. We don't push a technology because it is fashionable — we pick the one your case justifies, and we explain why.
Method drawn from project management
Scope, deadline and risk treated as a discipline. That is what separates a delivery you saw coming from an unpleasant surprise at the end of the quarter.
Product thinking, not just code
A degree in digital games left a habit behind: always think about the person who will use it. Interface, flow and performance are part of the engineering, not an accessory.
Privacy and compliance by default
LGPD, consent and data minimization go into the project from the start — the way we did it in Fin, where the data stays on the user's device.
Continuity after delivery
Monitoring, fixes and continuous improvement. The relationship doesn't end at go-live, because the software doesn't end there.
Every good solution starts with an honest conversation
Tell us the problem you're trying to solve. We'll listen, ask the uncomfortable questions, and tell you straight what can be done, how long it takes, and whether we really are the best choice for your case.
